Understanding Clear Aligners

Clear aligners are a modern, thoughtful orthodontic solution. They work by using a series of custom-made, transparent trays that gently guide your teeth into their ideal position. Because we understand that the idea of orthodontics can bring up anxieties, we've embraced this approach to make your treatment as smooth and stress-free as possible.
The process of straightening your dream smile with CandidPro is as straightforward as other popular clear aligners, such as Invisalign, all of which are designed for your comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions
The length of your treatment really depends on your unique smile and what we're working to achieve. Typically, treatment can range anywhere from a few months to a couple of years. During your very first consultation, once we've had a chance to assess your specific situation, we'll give you a much more precise idea of what to expect.
It's normal to feel a little bit of pressure or mild discomfort when you switch to a new set of aligners – that just means they're working! This feeling is usually temporary, and most of our patients find clear aligners quite comfortable overall. That initial mild discomfort usually fades away after just a few days as your mouth adjusts.
To get the best possible results and keep your treatment on track, it's important to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours every single day. The only times you should take them out are for eating, drinking (anything besides water), and brushing and flossing your teeth.
